The Community Arts Workshop (CAW) is a community-based program of Lower Columbia CAP, offering a free and welcoming creative space for individuals and families. Its mission centers on inclusion, self expression, and building meaningful community connections.

As part of CAP, CAW expands access to the arts by relying on volunteers and community donations rather than traditional funding alone. This model keeps the program lowbarrier and

open to the public, ensuring that anyone can participate in a safe, supportive, and creatively engaging environment.

CAW embodies the spirit of Community Action and reflects our pledge: “We care about the entire community, and we are dedicated to helping people help themselves and each other.”
